ATP surface swab
The ATP surface swab is simple to use, all in one pen-sized sampling device with pre-moistened swab.

Before using the swab, take the swab out of the fridge at least 15 minutes before use so that it heats till room temperature.
Rub the moistened swab against the control surface in a horizontal and vertical movement in a 10 to 30° degree angle.
The surface to be controlled should be 10 x 10 cm. During the sampling process turn the swab so that the full swab surface is covered with the the surface material.
Put the swab back in the test tube and shake with it during 5 to 10 seconds.
After the sampling process, put the swab in the device and wait for 10 seconds till the result is shown on screen.
Depending on the application, values lower dan 10 RLU are considered to be clean for the safe production and preparation of food.
